Magnificent or Little? (Your choice.)

I love synchronicities.  This morning I was reading the text from “A Course in Miracles” and was completely captured by a section called, “Littleness versus Magnitude.”

Littleness is when you play it safe. You content yourself with the world you see around yourself and tell yourself things like: “This is just how life is,” “Keeping my expectations low will keep me from disappointment,” ” Being practical is the safer bet,”  . . .

Being magnificent, on the other hand, is when you escape the confines of “realistic” and tap into your true spiritual essence.  You become the expanded part of yourself that is connected and an expression for spirit in the world.  You are magnificent when you are expressing your unique creativity and feeling joy-filled.

‘A Course in Miracles’ states:

Littleness and glory are the choices open to your striving and your vigilance.  You will always choose one at the expense of the other.

The nice synchronicity was coming across Laura Hollick (Soul Art Studio)’s  latest blog post “Let Yourself Be Seen.”  Laura is helping lead the way for transformation on the personal level by shining a light on what she calls the  ”New Paradigm” and the “Creative Spiritual Revolution.”   She recently launched “Soul Art TV” and is interviewing various thought leaders about the ‘Creative Spiritual Revolution.’ (And I am honored to be one of her interviewees in March.)

I believe the new paradigm is about making this shift for yourself from little to magnificent.  Which is a process of courage and trust.

The following are some questions that Laura poses to help you deepen your awareness and support you to step into the New Paradigm.  To read the full article go here.

1. If you really could live the life of your dreams what would that look like?

2. What beliefs come up when you imagine going for your dreams?

3. What shift is needed in your perception so you can embody your dreams?

4. If you put your New Paradigm lens on, where do you see proof of what is possible for you?

5. What is one thing you can do to align yourself with your true essence?

and… isn’t it that we actually are magnificent, yes all of us, and that we just keep forgetting that?
